Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver/Junior Advanced Diver
Enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver Course to explore new dive sites and undertake exclusive activities under the supervision of a Blue Octopus Scuba Instructor. This course allows individuals to learn about specialties and diving activities of particular interest. Your confidence and skill as a diver will increase while you experience the excitement of learning more about the underwater world.

What You Learn
The knowledge and skills you get in the Advanced Open Water Diver course vary with your interest and the adventures you have, but include:
- Practical aspects of deep diving
- Physiological effects of deeper scuba diving.
- More ways to use your underwater compass
- How to navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time
- How to better use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive PlannerTM (eRDPTM)
- And much, much more, depending on the Adventure Dives you choose
You'll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:

- Daily entry to the lake

- Personal Dive Gear (Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Boots)
- Specialty equipment needed (Ask staff while getting fitted)
Educational courses are refundable with a doctor-signed letter stating student(s) are not cleared to participate. Educational courses may be rescheduled within one year of purchase. Course materials are non-refundable.
Students must physically come in and be fitted no later than the Friday prior to their course.
